By using Dev PDF (“the Service”) you agree to these terms. They are written in plain language; if you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Dev PDF is a collection of free tools for working with PDF files, created and maintained by Arpit Dev. The tools run in your browser. Features may change, improve or be removed at any time.
2. Your content and responsibility
You keep all rights to your files. You are responsible for having the right to use, convert and share any file you process, and for keeping backups. Always check results before relying on them — especially for legal, financial, printing or label-scanning purposes.
3. Acceptable use
Don’t use the Service for anything unlawful, to infringe others’ rights, or to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service’s hosting. Don’t send abusive or spam messages through the suggestion form.
4. No warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. Conversions (for example PDF ↔ Word) are approximations and may not preserve every detail of the original. Signatures placed with Sign PDF are visual only and are not certified digital signatures; you are responsible for checking redactions and filled forms before sharing or relying on them.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Arpit Dev is not liable for any loss or damage — including loss of data, files or profits — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
6. Intellectual property
The Dev PDF name, logo, design and original code are the work of Arpit Dev. The Service includes open-source components (pdf-lib, PDF.js, JSZip and the Inter font) that remain under their own licences, listed on the About page.
7. Privacy
How data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
