About Edit PDF Info: free, private and in your browser
Edit Metadata lets you read and change the information stored inside a PDF, such as the title, author, subject, keywords, creator and producer. Update the fields, or remove them all, and download the revised file. The changes are made in your browser, so the document is never uploaded and stays private. It is free, requires no account and adds no watermark. Good metadata helps search tools and PDF viewers show the right title, helps you organise a library of documents, and lets you remove a personal name or software name before sharing a file. Only the document information is changed; the pages and their contents are left exactly as they were. For a deeper clean-up of hidden data such as embedded thumbnails, comments, attachments and scripts, use Clean PDF, and to see everything inside a file, use Analyze PDF. If a field cannot be read because the PDF stores it in an unusual way, the tool will show it as empty rather than guessing.
