About Word to PDF: free, private and in your browser

Word to PDF converts a .docx document into a PDF directly in your browser. Choose the file and download the result; nothing is uploaded, so résumés, reports and contracts remain private. The converter reads the document and typesets headings, paragraphs, lists, tables and basic formatting using standard PDF fonts. It is free, needs no sign-up and adds no watermark. Because it is not Microsoft Word, the result is an approximation: complex layouts, text boxes, headers and footers, and some embedded images may be simplified, and text in non-Latin scripts is drawn as picture pages. We state this openly so you can check the output before sending it. For documents that must look exactly like the original, export to PDF from Word itself. For quick, private conversions of everyday documents, this tool is fast and works on phones as well as computers. Only .docx files are supported; older .doc files should be saved as .docx first.
