About Flatten PDF: free, private and in your browser
Flatten PDF makes a PDF permanent by turning editable form fields into plain page content, or by converting every page into a picture. Choose form-only flattening to lock the answers in a filled form while keeping the text selectable, or the picture option to also lock comments and markup. The work is done in your browser, so your document is never uploaded and stays private. It is free, with no sign-up and no watermark. Flattening is useful before sending a completed application, because recipients can no longer change the answers by accident, and it helps documents display the same in every viewer. The picture option makes text unselectable and can make the file larger, and the tool shows the size change, so keep your original if you may need to edit again. If a file has no form fields, the tool explains that rather than doing nothing. To fill a form first, use Fill PDF Form; to shrink the result afterwards, use Compress PDF.
