About PDF to Word: free, private and in your browser
PDF to Word extracts the text of a PDF and saves it as an editable .docx document, entirely inside your browser. Your file is never uploaded, so private letters, reports and notes stay on your device. The converter rebuilds headings and paragraphs from the positions of the text, which works best for ordinary text-based documents. It is free, needs no account and adds no watermark. Please note the honest limits: tables, multi-column layouts and images are not reproduced, and scanned PDFs cannot be converted because Dev PDF does not include OCR; the tool tells you when a file is scanned instead of producing an empty document. Treat the result as a good starting point for editing rather than an exact copy. If you only need the words, PDF to Text gives plain text, and if you need the pictures, Extract Images saves them separately. Conversion speed depends on your device and the number of pages.
