About Add Page Numbers: free, private and in your browser

Add Page Numbers stamps clean page numbers onto every page of a PDF, or only the pages you choose. Select the position, format, font size and starting number, then download the numbered file. The stamping happens in your browser, so your document is never uploaded and stays private. It is free, with no sign-up and no watermark. This is useful for reports, theses, legal bundles, exam papers and any document that needs reliable references when printed. You can choose formats such as “1”, “Page 1” or “1 of 10”, and place numbers in a corner or at the centre of the header or footer. Numbers are drawn above the page content without changing the original text, and rotated or cropped pages are handled so the number appears where you expect. If your pages already have content in the footer, try a different position or add margins first with Add Margins. The result opens in any PDF viewer.
