About Clean PDF: free, private and in your browser
Clean PDF removes hidden and unnecessary data from a PDF so it is tidier, often smaller and safer to share. You choose what to strip: document information such as author and title, page thumbnails, comments and markup, links, JavaScript, attached files, bookmarks, unused objects, and optionally form fields. The tool also reports what it found and removed. Everything runs in your browser, so the file is never uploaded and stays private. It is free, with no sign-up and no watermark. Cleaning is helpful before publishing or emailing a document, because hidden metadata can reveal names, software and dates you did not intend to share. The visible page content is left as it is. It does not blur or delete visible information; for that, use Redact PDF. To see what a file contains before cleaning, use Analyze PDF, and to edit the title and author instead of deleting them, use Edit Metadata.
